- WHERE'S YOUR STUDIO? -
We are located in the heart of Sheung Wan, and a 5 minute walk away from Sheung Wan MTR station. You can find us on the 1st floor of Hing Tai Commercial Building. 114 Wing Lok Street. The entrance is on On Tai Street. We are marked accurately on google maps.
- HOW MUCH IS A TATTOO? -
Cost will vary greatly depending on size and details etc. We always recommend coming by the studio for a consultation and we will be able to quote you pretty accurately then.
- DO YOU CHARGE FOR CONSULTATIONS? -
Nope.
- DO I NEED TO LEAVE A DEPOSIT TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT? -
Yup. We take between HK$1000 - HK$1500 as a deposit and that will be subtracted from the cost of your tattoo upon completion.
-WHAT DO I NEED TO DO IF I WANT TO MOVE MY APPOINTMENT? -
We ask for at least 24 hours notice to move appointments. This is to ensure we can reschedule another client in your spot. Any less than this and you forfeit your deposit to cover our lost time.
- I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND CAN I HAVE MY DEPOSIT BACK? -
Nope. Deposits are not refundable so please ensure you are ready to be tattooed when you make your appointment.
- CAN I BE LATE? -
Nope. Please be on time for your appointment to avoid extra charges or ultimately losing your appointment slot and your deposit.
- CAN I WALK IN? -
Yup. We do prefer appointments as our artists tend to get booked up in advance, though you can of course test your luck. If we are fully booked on the day you walk in, we are happy to book you for a future appointment.
- HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT OR CONSULTATION? -

- DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM CHARGE FOR TATTOOS? -
Yup. Our shop minimum is HK$1000.
- WHEN CAN I SEE A DRAWING FOR MY TATTOO? -
We always have a drawing prepared for you on the day of your appointment and more often than not at least a day before. We will contact you as soon as your artwork is ready and we can arrange a time for you to come by and check it out. Don't worry, we always leave time to make small changes if necessary. We do not send out drawings at all, and all viewings are done in the studio. Trust us, it's easier that way for everyone involved.
- IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD DO BEFORE I GET TATTOOED? -
Not really! We always recommend a good nights sleep and a good lunch before you come by. Make sure you're not hung over or feeling sick and you'll be fine.
- HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO GET TATTOOED AT BLACKOUT? -
The legal age to be tattooed in Hong Kong is 18. We do not budge on that and there are no exceptions for parental consent.
- DO YOU DO PIERCINGS? -
Nope, but our good friends at Brilliance Bay are by far the most experienced body piercers in Hong Kong. Give them a google and go there.
- HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY TATTOO? -
You're going to remove any bandages after a minimum of 6 hours, and gently clean your tattoo with warm water. Mild soap is fine (avoid heavily scented soap)
Using clean hands, wipe away any excess blood, plasma, ink and ointment. Pat your tattoo dry. DO NOT SCRUB IT! gentle is the word of the day
Apply a thin layer of aftercare lotion 2 -3 times a day until your tattoo is fully healed. Typical healing time will be between 7 - 14 days.
Do not pick or scratch your tattoo!
Avoid swimming or soaking your tattoo and avoid direct sunlight until you're fully healed.
